Frequently Asked Questions

What is neurodiversity?

All minds are born and grown differently, the vast majority of minds have similarities that allow them to process information in similar ways (neuro-typicals), so they tend to understand how each other think and feel with little to medium effort. There are also minds that process information differently (neuro-divergent), and when something unexpected happens, these minds can begin to work in over-drive, which often leaves both Neuro-typical and Neuro-divergent people feeling confused or misunderstood, especially if they are trying to do something together. Often, the neuro-divergent mind is left alone to work it out for themselves. This is where Making Minds can help, all minds need a helping hand to grow and thrive no matter who you are and what neurology you have. At Making Minds, we believe that the world's greatest minds are divergent minds, yet somehow they are the last to see how wonderful they are.
